Cebu with la petite fille

Can you just imagine how annoying this can get, we were all (mom, me, my boyfriend, and my little sister) set to travel to Cebu last April 28 - 30 when by April 26, spots just popped out of le hunny's skin? Yes..he caught chicken pox! I had to cancel (and refund) his ticket, (The Good): I didn't get any hard time on this (Thanks Cebu Pacific!). (The bad is coming in 3..2..1): We got to the airport at 5:00AM for our 6:10AM flight and guess how long the line was at the check-in counter? I was surprised to still see a lot of people lined up at the check-in counter for our flight and they all looked like they waited for years in line! The problem was the plane that had to carry 400 passengers had problem/s and they replaced it with a plane that can carry only a hundred +++. Where the hell are the remaining 200+ passengers going to ride to Cebu? They distributed us to the 'unseated' remaining flights for the day. We were so unlucky to get the 1:25PM flight. Worse? It still got delayed to almost 2PM and worst? Obama arrived!!! We had to wait another 30mins stuck in the plane. Arggghh!!!

Anyway.. Good thing we are staying in one of the best hotels in Cebu: Marco Polo Hotel! Yay!

Our bed for two nights. La petite fille wanted to take home the pillows. I think these beds are twin and not single beds.

Reading corner turned coloring corner.

The clean trono.

The bathroom counter. NO to the sink, didn't like it.

Where la petite fille did her 'writings to-do'.

Coffee, tea, or me?

Not sure if this is really it's purpose. Spot: the lovely bensimons and the fatty chips.

Fully stocked mini ref.. Cos we put a lot of Moo and Dutchmill.

Love this mirror beside the bathroom door!

So every morning we get to stuff ourselves with breakfast. We can take the buffet to the pool area so my sister and I got to do our own thing: She swim while I eat. Haha

Spot my carbs! And sugar!
FYI: These are not all the breakfast I had that morning. I previously had a plate full of sunnysideup egg, bacon, ham, sausages, fish fingers, dumplings (different sorts), tapa, plain croissant, belgian waffle with blueberries and cream on top, veggies and some rice rolls. Then I had arroz caldo with century eggs, toasted garlic and some chives on top. Then I had these pastries. Then a plate of their super yummy chocolate chip cookies! Worth all the Cebu Pacific troubles! Wish we'd come back soon...I miss all the food!

Mom's friend, Mr. Malaca, gave us some of their famous ensaymada and chocolate cake to take home.

Thanks for making our stay an unforgettable one! See you soon..
